depends on exactly what is requested. Ask your sales representative for details..
Any customer thinking about placing an order for custom furniture must beware. A particular choice of size, color,

We're open Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm. Weekend visits can be arranged by appointment.
|
12. What materials do you use for your furniture?
Our leather hides are 100% genuine top grain leather. Many manufacturers purchase cheap hides that have to be corrected, stretched, patched, and altered, which takes away from the durability of the leather. We don't do this to our leathers.
We offer full leather sofas that include leather all around, back and sides if you choose. Please specify at time of ordering if you wish to have your leather furniture fully upholstered with leather or if you wish to have the standard leather match. (Leather match means that the furniture has leather only in areas that directly touch your body when sitting. The rest, usually the back and sides, are made with vinyl, artificial leather.) In most cases if you do not specify you want full leather your sales person will assume you want leather match.
All our leather hides are cut to pattern (not cut and sewn or vinyl matched). You will be able to recognize cut and sewn patterns by the seam down the center of the cushions. Check your couches...most will have these seams.
Our leather hides are fully aniline dyed, colored completely through, not just on the surface. This makes for easy cleaning, and prevents fading, staining, and soiling and won't peel and crack like cheaper leather.

13. Can you tell me about the frames of the furniture?
Our frames are build to last using select, solid hardwood. Weight bearing joints are blocked and secured to assure stability and strength. The kiln dried hardwood frame is designed to withstand the most demanding use (most others are basic plywood or cheap pressed wood). Our frames will not warp, split, or break.
To provide utmost comfort each frame is padded on the front, side, and back.
All joints are connected by tongue and groove construction which ensures quality craftsmanship.
No sag coil springs (found only in the best upholstered furniture).
|
14. Can you tell me about the cushions of the furniture?
Most models come with the following unless specified while ordering:
2.5 grade memory foam, these are more durable and provide better comfort and may be firm for some tastes. Many other manufacturers use only 1.2 - 1.6 grade memory foam, which doesn't give the preferred support and typically wears out sooner.
Individually pocketed coils for balanced comfort and long life (most other seat cushions are foam with no springs).
All cushions are wrapped in a polly wrap which helps the leather breathe, and prevents the leather from deteriorating the cushion.
Mostly each individual cushion is Velcro attached, is removable, has zippers which allows for replacement of cushion padding. 8 gauge heavy duty no-sag sinuous springs are used which provide a comfortable long lasting seating platform.
